Submerged Thoughts asks us to reconsider how we connect with the past and how we continue to evolve through the act of remembering.

Submerged Thoughts is a series that delves into the fluid architecture of memory. Through the medium of batik ink on paper, I harness organic, unpredictable flows to create intricate patterns that echo the way thoughts and recollections surface, merge, and recede. The work is an exploration of materiality as metaphor. Just as the ink finds its own path, soaking into the fibres of the paper, so too do memories settle into the fabric of our consciousness. This series invites a reconsideration of the past, not as a fixed record, but as a dynamic, submerged landscape that shapes our ongoing evolution.
